Everyone knows the basics right? That’s no secret, so let’s skip that part now.
Your apple pie doesn’t nearly taste as sweet, juicy and satisfying as grandma’s apple pie. You know why? There is a secret formula..
Today, I will share the secret formula for a sweet, juicy and satisfying landing page.
Let’s first give that a definition which we agree upon.
A satisfying landing page is one that has the highest conversion rate.
Agreed? Good. Let’s get into the juicy stuff now!
Here are 7 steps you NEED to implement to get this right:
1. Headline. Your ad, for your ad.
The average attention span nowadays is less than a goldfish.
If you don’t get their attention, they won’t take a look at the rest of the content.
Create an amazing headline with your value proposition and attract people to read the rest of your page. Make sure it’s something bold, a statement, original, to the point and 7-8 words max.
2. Visual Focus.
If you just have text, you’ll find that the conversions aren’t that great.
The headline grabbed their attention and the visual needs to keep their attention.
You can add a product photo or video right under the headline. The higher the quality, the better!
3. Features and Benefits.
Include both, but highlight the benefits because they are KEY.
People get sold on the solution to their problem.
Find your ideal customers and the problems they are facing.
Offer that solution as a benefit. Don’t talk about HOW, but simply mention the result.
4. Single and Focused CTA.
- Your landing page needs to be designed to make people buy. Not to go sideways here, click on here, and for more details click on here, etc. etc.
You set up a headline, visual focus, talking about the benefits, solutions, handling objections etc. for a reason.
You give them a whole story and DON’T let them go sideways or you’ll lose them.
5. Social Proof.
Reviews are amazingggg. Every business owner thinks their product or service is perfect because they’re extremely subjective.
But when others say that, it’s more likely to land and convince people.
6. Guarantee!
Decrease the risk and make them feel comfortable.
You see, if people are not happy with your product or service, you will have to refund them anyway. If you don’t, it’s going to hurt you in the long run.
So offer them a free trial, 30 day money back or something like that.
Let them know you care and if there are problems, you’ll solve them.
7. Storytelling.
Whether you like it or not. People. Love. Soaps.
That’s why they’re on T.V. 24/7.
It’s a 1000+ year old marketing technique we all tend to forget. It has worked for sooo long and it will continue to work!
If you can integrate storytelling, take people through an emotional rollercoaster going up and down, they are much more likely to convert.
Implement these 7 steps and you’ll end up with a very, very satisfying converting landing page, GUARANTEED!
